   Early Sales in the Fed Cash Cattle Market were Marked at $345 Dressed

   Some light dressed cattle trade was noted in Nebraska at $345 -- but no
other sales were noted.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   Again, on Thursday, it was disappointing to note the decline in the
livestock complex which largely was attributed to the lack of fundamental
support. Some light cash cattle trade was noted in Nebraska at $345. December
corn is down 1 3/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $8.20.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 52.66 points and the NASDAQ is down
345.35 points.
